The Aria Database (Robert Glaubitz)

An attractive site with interesting offerings. Perform a keyword search to retrieve information such as: identification of the opera and act in which the aria is placed, names of composer and librettist, character that sings the aria, synopsis of scene, and other information, or browse an alphabetical list of composers' names for a list of their operas and the arias from those operas covered by the database. Other features include music quotes, a bibliography of operatic books, a list of operas that have been fully translated into English, and a large collection of links to Web sites related to opera.
