Other Ways to Request Physical Material

If an item can't be found in the Catalog, it can be requested through ILLiad. Physical material includes Books, Microform, and Multimedia.

Requesting Tips:

  • Providing an ISBN will speed up the processing time for your request.
  • Providing a note will flag your request for review and slow down the process. Only include notes that are absolutely necessary. Avoid notes like "Thanks," "I need this ASAP," etc.
  • Theses/Dissertations may be available electronically but some are only available as a physical loan.
  • Ebooks and textbooks are typically not able to be obtained through Resource Sharing.
