Resource Sharing (Interlibrary Loan)

Physical materials are books, DVDs, CDs, recordings, scores, dissertations, and microforms that you receive as a physical item with a set loan period.

1. Start by searching for your item in the catalog. 
   
   Search the Catalog

   If you don’t see your searched-for item, select “Expand My Results” at the top of the left panel of your screen.
   
   • If you still don’t see the item you’re looking for in the results, you can request it through ILLiad. For instructions see "Other Ways to Request Physical Material".

   Once you find the item in your results, click on the title.

   Scroll down to the "How to get it" section.

5. ---

   Log in with your UAlbany credentials.

6. ---

   Click "Request from another library".
   
   

7. ---

   Select your preferred pick up location and provide any relevant notes.

8. ---

   Click the "Send Request" button.
