Easy to overlook, this “mini” park behind a uniquely Mediterranean looking fire station offers big views of Kaimuki, Daimond Head, and Parts of Waikiki! Ultimately, there is not much to do Pu'u O Kaimukī other than stop and rest for a while, though this park which is popular for dog owners does provide a wonderful place to reflect, have a small snack, or otherwise just take a load off. Notable for its metal “Christmas tree” sculpture (which is there year-round) as well as its beautifully painted telecommunications building, the park’s best view is of the Wilhelmina Rise, an expansive, urbanized slope stemming down from the Koʻolau Range. Make sure to make this park a stop when traveling through Kaimuki!
