Britannica School also offers a choice of elementary, middle and high school to ensure content is best suited for that age range. Be sure to look at the further research for additional resources!

Content available on Learn360 has been provided through trusted and reliable sources to ensure accuracy. Use the search feature to locate information specifically on your topic.

This highly illustrated title is engaging and current! It not only provides an overview of the Mauryan Empire, but other important events that happened during this time. You will learn how they defended themselves against the Romans, learn about their military, trade and influence.

This is another recent title that covers the ancient civilizations of India. Not only will you learn more about the Maurya Empire, but also how it is related to the Gupta Empire. You will have a look at what daily life might have been like during the Maurya Empire. This includes the family roles, homes, clothes, hygiene and diet.

It is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2009 with the goal of creating a reliable and comprehensive resource. It was first focused solely on ancient history, which makes this resource the perfect addition to our ancient civilization project. Use the search feature to locate information about your civilization. You will be able to locate information on Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, the Maya Empire, Han and Qin Dynasties, Gupta Empire, and the Mauryan Empire.
