The following video is Episode 201: Cardboard Furniture. In this episode, teams are challenged to build furniture out of cardboard for home good store IKEA. Each team must build 2 pieces of furniture, one big and one small, and one of the pieces must include a solution for storage. One team is asked to design for a boys room while the other team designs for a girls room. The teams must complete the challenge in the give amount of time and present their furniture to real-life IKEA customers for a vote.

The Dream Big project is part of a movement to bring STEM education into schools. Along with the film, the Dream Big website has a variety of educational tools including an educator guide and lesson plans. These have all been written to meet the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). There are also several hands-on activities, educational videos, and additional resources available. The Dream Big film and its accompanying resources would be a wonderful addition to your STEM curriculum. The possibilities here are endless.
