IST 605: STEM Resources for Educators

Search Tips

The books listed here were found by conducting a basic search on Google and using Amazon Books. Once you enter your search terms into the search box you will find many books on the topic. I selected a few of my personal favorites to include in this guide, but there are so many more wonderful titles available!

Search terms used:

STEM books for kids

best STEM books for kids

STEM books for teachers

Tips: Google will provide you with links to several websites that offer lists of the "best" or highly recommended STEM titles. You can filter your results by type (fiction and non-fiction) or format (hardcover, paperback, eBook, or audiobook). Look through these results carefully! There are many quality booklists out there. One that I recommend is from the National Science Teachers Association.

A search on Amazon will provide you with a results list of several titles to look through. There are many ways to filter your results including by department, age range, book type, new releases and format. Links to Amazon are provided for all included titles.

You can also search for the listed titles in WorldCat to see if they are available in a local library near you.
