Native American Law or Tribal Law?

In the United States, federal laws that regulate, legislate, or otherwise impact Native Americans are referred to as Indian Law or Native American Law. This is distinct from Tribal Law, which refers to laws passed by individual tribes. See the Tribal Law and Government guide for more information.
