Chicago Style

Chicago style consists of two systems of citation:  a notes-bibliography system, and an author-date system.  The notes-bibliography system is used in the humanities, particularly history, while the author-date system is frequently used in the social sciences.  Both systems are covered in the Chicago Manual of Style.
