College research can be tricky. Even if you did research in high school, research in college can come with stricter expectations, especially around what topics you research, what types of sources you use, and how you give credit to those sources in order to avoid issues like plagiarism.
Consider the skills listed below.

- Making choices about where and how to search for information
- Choosing appropriate sources
- Evaluating the quality and relevance of a source
- Giving credit to the sources found
- Asking for help when needed
