Well-Being in Higher Education Week

On behalf of the Well-Being in Higher Education Week Planning Committee, UAlbany we are delighted to invite all members of the UAlbany community to join us for Well-Being in Higher Education Week starting today, February 26th through Friday, March 1st.

This week is centered around promoting multidimensional wellness for faculty, staff and students of the University. Each day of the week will center around a different dimension and include activities, training sessions, and newsletters that offer new skills. Some will be held in-person, while others will be held virtually.

Join us and our partners across UAlbany in focusing on Well-Being.

Monday 2/26/2024

  • 11-12pm: Managing Career Well-Being, Campus Center Multi-Purpose Room
  • 12-1pm: First-time Homebuyer Seminar, Campus Center Multi-Purpose Room
  • 1-4pm: Wellness Tabling, Campus Center Great Hall

Tuesday 2/27

  • 11am-2pm: Wellness Tabling, Campus Center Great Hall
  • 12-1pm: Beat Procrastination (All), Zoom
  • 4:45–5:45pm: Suicide Prevention (Students), HU 109
  • 6-7pm: Dimensions of Wellness (All), HU 109

Wednesday 2/28

  • All Day: Free Group Exercise Classes (All), PE Building
  • 1-2pm: Eating for Energy (All), Campus Center by Corner Deli
  • 3-5pm: Wellness Tabling, Campus Center Great Hall

Thursday 2/29

  • 12-1pm: Suicide Prevention (Employees), Zoom
  • 12-1pm: Epilepsy Training (All), Zoom
  • 12-2pm: Food Allergy Awareness Tabling Event (All), Campus Center Great Hall
  • 5:30-7pm: Opioid Overdose Prevention Training (All), Library Minerva Room
