IST 605: History of Abstract Art

This article explores the Cubism and Abstract Art exhibition which was held at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City during the spring of 1936. This exhibit was pivotal in the evolution of early-20th century modernism. The article explores how critics of the expressionist movement often contradicted one another.
