Introduction
The purpose of this LibGuide is to provide anyone with an understanding of the celestial bodies that we call planets. While the planets have been around since for billions of years, The first planet in our solar system was first discovered by ancient Babylonian astronomers in the 2nd millennium BC. Many of the sources vary in complexity based on a person's understanding of astronomy . There are links to a variety of resources including databases, journal articles, books, and videos. The LibGuide can also serve as a starting point for any level of studies.
