The combined collections of Albany's University Libraries exceeds 2 million cataloged items. The Libraries have developed an on-campus storage facility to house lesser-used items from the collections. The collection includes books, periodicals & media from each of the three libraries, as well as material from Special Collections.This facility provides approximately 50,000 net square feet of space and 80,000 linear feet of compact shelving to accomodate library storage needs for years to come.
The Library Storage Facility, which is located below the Campus Center, is a closed-stack facility and is not open to the public.
Items in storage appear in the library discovery service, Primo, with Storage as the location.
