IST 605: Young Adult Reading Guide

A Teen’s Guide to Finding Books and Reading What You Love

Reviewers I recommend:

You can click on the image above or this link. This booktuber, or book YouTuber, creates fantastic book recommendation blogs, and I trust her opinions. Although this video may be a few years old, many of the recommendations it offers remain hugely popular and are still widely discussed in the book community today. She reads a lot of graphic novels, romance, and thrillers for YA and adults, so even as you get older, her YouTube channel will still provide you with value.

Another Booktuber I highly recommend is Lexi (NewlyNova), you can click the image above or right here. Lexi reads widely and diversely and is a huge fan of YA books. Just like Gabby, I trust her recommendations, and I know the books she recommends will be worth my time and valuable. She reads a wide range of popular YA books, as well as many lesser-known ones that have surprised me. She reads a lot of thought-provoking books that challenge the status quo, so if you like unconventional books that make you think (and also a good fantasy, twisty thriller, or cute feet-kicking romance here and there), Lexi is my top recommendation. She also has a very large BookTok account on TikTok that features even more videos. She started on TikTok!
