Introduction

This guide is intended to aid college and graduate-level students in accessing resources and information related to the history of film and cinema. This guide holds a variety of sources such as databases, journal articles, reference resources, and more. This is meant to be a comprehensive guide that gives students a deep and rich understanding of the film industry with sources analyzing its history, its societal impacts, its challenges, and its future. It will help users discover, search for, and access peer-reviewed, reliable, quality sources that will give them an understanding of the changes the film industry has undergone.
