JoVE is offering to provide all of their Education video content free to use in STEM teaching efforts through June 15th. All of the JoVE content that libraries subscribed to previous to COVID-19 is fully accessible off-campus. Faculty can set up remote access. The Libraries continue provide access to its previous JOVE Subscriptions: NEUOROSCIENCE, BEHAVIOR and SCIENCE EDUCATION.
The Libraries subscribes to this ebook collection from Ebsco with over 200,000 e-books. These are NOT public or freely available. One must have USER ID and Password from UALBANY to access. However, increased access has been purchased by the UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES.
Access to the APA Publication Manual 7th edition is being offered from APA without cost through Red Shelf and Virtual Source. To access, one must create an account in either of those platforms. There is no downloadable access but references for the 7th edition are available.
To access JSTOR e-books - GO TO DATABASE FINDER at Library home page and click on JSTOR. JSTOR does not offer a limit by e-books - one must browse book titles to find a particular book. JSTOR is offering over 350K e-books until June 25, 2020 due to COVID. The Library has already purchased some access so they will not all disappear after June 25th.
