Explore resources that illustrate the transformation of annual traditions such as Halloween, Christmas, and Easter from Pagan rituals to contemporary Christian holidays. Ideal for current undergraduate and graduate students seeking diverse materials that examine the intersection and background of this cultural shift. Comprehensive coverage of specific subject matter, with some exposure to further reading on other celebrated holidays and other customs that have become mainstream standards. 

Resources:

A variety of formats including book, video, and journal are provided to assist in researching this intentionally obscured history. 

Terminology: 

"Pagan" is used to encompass Celtic, Roman, Norse and other pantheistic cultures, contrasting with the monotheism of Christianity.

"Christianization" is a term used to describe the act of a tradition or practice being re-branded as Christian.
