PAWS is a research consultation feature for UAlbany students, faculty and staff that provides a one-hour appointment with a reference librarian. This is especially helpful for larger projects and research papers.
Provides article delivery and short term loans from a vast network of libraries and document suppliers on a local, statewide, national, and international basis.
For discipline-specific information, subject librarians can help you locate electronic articles, eBooks, videos and other materials for your course assignments.
Renew your current loans, view items that you currently have checked out and their due date, request items on hold or recall, add your favorites to a list, check your search history and more!
Access databases on- and off-campus. Ask us if you have access problems that you cannot resolve. When the article(s) you need are not available online in the libraries, request them through Interlibrary Loan.
Distance learners include those registered for fully online degree programs, those participating in various extended learning programs, and those students who live over 50 miles from the university.
