Earth's Active Volcanoes. A listing of the Earth's active volcanoes by geographic area along with links to additional information.

 

Global Volcanism Program. The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History provides extensive resources on volcanoes, including maps, photos, and weekly/monthly activity reports.

The Volcano Information Center. VIC provides information on the features of volcanoes, eruptions, & hazards along with links to Web sites that contain volcanology resources.

Volcanoes. An exhibit from the Annenberg/CPB Project that provides a wealth of information about volcanoes.

 

Volcano World. This site brings together both historical and current information on volcanoes, as well as extensive background material.
