Ethics Web

The EthicsWeb is a collection of ethics-related websites, run by philosopher-ethicist Chris MacDonald. The style and function of the various EthicsWeb websites varies, but each strives to present a selected range of high-quality ethics-related resources on a particular topic. Most of the EthicsWeb sites have a Canadian "slant," but all provide information that will be of interest to international visitors.

The International Society for Military Ethics

This site presents discussions regarding professional ethics in relation to the military. Included are links to past and present conferences and papers, case studies, U.S. Army, Air Force and Navy core values, and a bibliography.

The Secular Web

This site offers resources pertaining to philosophical thought regarding religion and atheism. The library included links to topics such as Life after Death, Nontheism, Science & Religion, Church-State Separation, and others. The library also contains a section with links to different journals on the web. There are also listings of organizations, essay contests and scholarships.

Christian Classics Ethereal Library

If you are looking for public domain Christian texts, this may be a good place to look. The World Wide Study Bible contains scripture, commentary, and study guides on the Old and New Testaments as well as the Apocrypha. The World Wide Encyclopedia of Christianity may be helpful in defining terms and finding information about religious figures.

Metaphysics Research Lab at CSLI

The lab presents a paper bringing together the ideas of Plato, Leibniz, Frege, Meinong, and Mally entitled the Principa Metaphysica (follow link for The Theory of Abstract Objects). The site also offers brief information about the aforementioned philosophers, as well as a listing of the Metaphysical Research Lab Personnel and their works.

National Organisation for Women (NOW)

"Since its founding in 1966, NOW's goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women." This site offers articles pertaining to women's rights and issues of equality, discrimination, harassment, and other issues. Links to other sites pertaining to women's issues are also included.

Urban Dharma: Buddhism for Urban America

Contained on this site is introductory information about Buddhism as well as newsletters with writings on Buddhist issues. Archived newsletters are available. Many articles on a variety of topics may be found here.
