Chemistry: A Guide to Non-Library Web Resources: Molecular Models

Molecular Models & Modeling

Download an all-purpose chemical drawing and graphics software program from Advanced Chemistry Development (ACD). The package allows the use of templates or free hand; click and draw molecules, ions, stereobonds, text annotations, polygons, arrows, etc.; and it generates molecular weight and formula, and provides estimates of density, refractive index, molar volume, etc.

The Orbitron

This site contains a collection of high-quality images representing the shapes of molecular orbitals.

A free, web-based platform that allows the drawing and modeling of molecules.
