This source talks about how amateur radio operators can and have assisted during natural disasters when phone communications are down. This is a good resource for learning about how amateur radio can provide emergency services during disasters. Though people new to the hobby will not be using the skills talked about, it does show off amateur radio's capabilities and an interesting aspect of the community. More information on other agencies that are part of amateur radio emergency services could make this source more rounded instead of focusing on one group.

This source gives information about ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service). This includes information such as who they are, how they operate, and how to become a member. This is the official landing page for ARES, so there are also official updates to the organization in statement documents. This is a good source to get insight into the emergency services that exist within amateur radio. To make this a more complete overview of the ARES, it would be nice to see information about its history.
